The towns of Chablis and Mâcon invite the public to discover the culture of winegrowing through an innovative museography.
Within a spectacular scenography composed of white strata representing the different times of wine, visitors discover several innovative audiovisual devices. They are immersed in a sensory and entertaining journey.
A panoramic audiovisual show, broadcast on LED strata measuring 8m x 3m, introduces the tour. Combining line drawings and real images shot in 8K, it tells the story of Burgundy's vineyards since geological times.
The Mosaïque des parcelles (Mosaic of parcels) is a very large interactive projection on a 9m x 2.5m white relief model. It plunges visitors into the turbulent life of the landscape.
Various animated films explain the origins of wine names, the winemaking process and decrypt labels.
Visitors can then meet winegrowers and learn about the impact of the seasons on their work in the Gestes de la vigne (Vineyard Gestures) installation, broadcast on 4m x 3m LED strata.
An aerial sound creation accompanies the visitor, reinforcing the sensation of immersion and fluidity.
Personalization is also at the heart of the visitor experience. Each visitor can interact with the exhibition by tagging various elements using a connected bracelet, which saves the answers and offers a unique visual surprise at the end of the visit, defining the visitor's taste profile.
