The all-new visit area designed for children aged 6 to 12
To better understand the ocean and the importance of its rich biodiversity
Drôle de Trame, with MGDesign, Anabole and Cent Millions de Pixels, has produced films and multimedia to amaze and inform young and old alike as they explore, observe, listen to and learn about the sights, sounds and life of the ocean.
The interactive ‘Myster'yeux’ exhibit lets you look straight into the eyes of well-known and lesser-known marine species.
A rotating screen placed on a 4-metre long reconstruction of beach wrack unlocks the secrets of this unique ecosystem.
A number of hands-on multimedia activities invite children to touch and feel: a matching game, a sound table and two participatory science experiments.
At the end of the visit, children can bring their own personalised sea creature to life via an immersive projection.
All the exhibits are the result of close collaboration with Océanopolis’ science education team, who also shot most of the footage of the aquarium's scaly, furry and feathered residents.
